G DATA 365 | Mail Protection
Why do emails that have already been flagged as spam appear again in the log?
If an incoming spam email was moved by G DATA 365 | Mail Protection to the recipient’s Junk Email folder, it is located in a subfolder within the recipient’s Inbox. If it is determined only a few hours later that the spam email also contains a virus, the email is found again in the Junk Email folder during the rescan and moved to quarantine. If this folder were excluded from rescans, an undetected threat would remain in the recipient’s Inbox.
