View "Installing new endpoints"
The "Installing new endpoints" view provides additional information specific to the installation of your agents and also offers the option to download the installation software directly.
The list of endpoints (→ 1) contains all endpoints on which the G DATA Agent is installed.
Setupname |
Setup name of the endpoint on which the agent is installed. |

Setup-ID |
The Setup-ID used to install the G DATA Agent.

Organization Unit |
Displays the OU to which the endpoint is assigned. |
||
Short-Lived VM |
Indicates whether the respective endpoint is a system that is regularly reinstalled. |

Update Source |
Specifies the source from which updates for the G DATA Agent are installed. "Standard" means that updates come from G DATA. If a different source has been set, this will be displayed here. |
||
Stop malicious code |
Indicates whether malicious code can be stopped automatically. |
||
Policy Control |
Indicates whether Policy Control is enabled on the endpoint. |
The search and filter options are located in the upper right corner of the table (→ 2). With the search
, specific endpoints can be displayed based on
Setup Name or Setup-ID. With the filter options
, you can selectively hide individual table
columns.
Downloading the installation software (→ 3)
You can also download the installation software for the G DATA Agent in the "Installing new endpoints" view.

Important information on using clone templates / images. The G DATA Agent must not be installed on images that will be subsequently used to clone the image onto other systems. The installation of the G DATA Agent must always be performed after a cloning operation to ensure that incidents can be uniquely identified. |
To do this, first select the operating system for which you require the installation software.
Then choose whether you want to download the software directly or copy the link to the download page to the clipboard.
You can now install the G DATA Agent on the desired endpoint. You can simply copy the required Setup-ID from the list of endpoints.
