Which terms might you encounter in connection with G DATA MXDR, and what do they mean?
Agent |
G DATA software that runs on an Endpoint. The Agent includes the sensors and communicates with a backend. |
Agent ID |
A value that uniquely identifies each Agent installation regardless of the device name. This makes it possible to manage devices with the same name within an organizational unit. |

Endpunkt Sensor |
A component (within the Agent) that runs on Endpoints and can collect events of a specific type. This includes, for example, creating or deleting processes/files, access to the Windows registry, entries in the operating system event log, or software uninstalls/installs. |

Review |
In the Review, the target profile of your personal G DATA MXDR product is defined based on the findings and agreements from the Kick-off, which is then implemented in the Onboarding. |
Setup ID |
An ID that makes it possible to map an installation of the G DATA Agenten to its organizational unit. |

Threat Intelligence |
Translated as "threat data". This refers to everything that G DATA knows about a file, a process, a URL, or similar, and can classify. |
Deprecation / deprecated |
