Security of the G DATA Web Portal

To ensure the security of your data, as a German company headquartered in Bochum, we are subject to strict German data protection laws. Data is stored exclusively on servers in Germany. In addition, we develop the XDR technology for monitoring IT systems entirely in-house, also in Germany and guaranteed to be free of backdoors. To this end, we have committed to upholding the "IT Security Made in Germany" seal. We guarantee that your data is safe with us.

However, there is one way to access your data, and it is your responsibility as a user to protect it: your access to G DATA Web Portal and ensuring that you control who you grant access to and how that access is protected.

When a license is activated, two-factor authentication is enabled by default. You can check this in the top-level organization unit of your license.

It is theoretically possible to disable this authentication method in specific situations. However, we strongly advise against doing so, as this would disable an important safeguard against unauthorized access.
