G DATA XDR
The security of the G DATA Web Portal
To ensure the security of your data, we, as a German company headquartered in Bochum, are subject to strict German data protection laws. Data storage is carried out exclusively on servers in Germany. In addition, we develop the XDR technology for monitoring IT systems entirely in-house—also in Germany and guaranteed without backdoors. To this end, as a holder of the “IT-Security Made in Germany” seal, we have made a commitment. We guarantee that your data is secure.
However, there is one door to your data whose protection is your responsibility as a user: your access to the G DATA Web Portal and ensuring who you grant access to and how this access is protected.
When activating a license, two-factor authentication (2FA) is enabled by default.
You can check this in the top-level Organization Unit of your license.

The theoretical possibility of disabling this authentication is available for special situations. However, we strongly advise against doing so, because you would otherwise disable an important component for preventing unauthorized access. |
