When is an e-mail considered as opened?

Answer:

An e-mail is considered as opened if images are loaded in the e-mail (as with marketing newsletters), or a link or attachment in the email is opened. False positives are possible if, for example, the automatic reloading of images is activated in the mail client or the e-mail is automatically moved to a folder. Viewing the e-mail in the preview does not count.
