Kai Figge
Founder & Board Member
Kai Figge is one of the founders who launched G DATA as a garage startup in 1985. He has been at the forefront of technological change from the very beginning and has set a clear customer-focused direction for the company’s services and products. As Chief Financial and Human Resources Officer, Kai Figge is responsible for the company’s long-term financing and for recruiting skilled professionals. In the competition for the best talent, his goal is to make G DATA an attractive employer. Lifelong learning, sports opportunities, and events in a culturally inclusive atmosphere define the unique G DATA spirit.
Andreas Lüning
Founder & Board Member
As a co-founder of G DATA CyberDefense AG, Andreas Lüning has helped shape the direction of this leading IT security provider from the very beginning: in 1985, he developed the world’s first virus scanner to protect computers from malware. In his role as Executive Board Member and CTO, he oversees all technical departments of the company and, together with our employees, will drive the further development of G DATA CyberDefense AG into a leading provider of security technologies.
Frank Heisler
Board member
Frank Heisler knows the IT security industry like few others. As a long-time employee and experienced manager, he previously served on the Executive Board from 2006 to 2014. Since then, as Managing Director of G DATA Service GmbH, he has been driving the expansion of customer support. In 2020, he was reappointed to the Executive Board. In his role, Frank Heisler oversees the areas of Sales, Marketing, Corporate Communications, and Service & Support—with the goal of delivering the company’s IT security services to customers even more efficiently.
