Development & Hosting in Germany for the Highest Level of Data Protection

Given the high level of threat in the digital space, cyber-resilient systems require integrated and customized security solutions. IT security measures that operate exclusively at the endpoint are therefore insufficient. What is needed is a holistic and comprehensive protection strategy. With this in mind, we have developed Verdict-as-a-Service (VaaS)—a cloud-based and thus native malware protection solution.

We would be happy to advise you on how to use our products in your application or within your company.
Use Cases
Verdict-as-a-Service is the perfect complement to modern cloud applications that require flexible and scalable malware protection mechanisms. Whether in the cloud, in mobile apps, or on communication platforms—VaaS adapts to your specific needs.
Companies that exchange or store large amounts of data—such as file-sharing services or cloud storage providers—benefit from automated malware scans.
For Software-as-a-Service providers that handle sensitive data, VaaS provides an additional layer of protection.
Applications such as email services, team chats, and social networks use VaaS to detect malware in file attachments.
For developers of mobile applications or IoT backends, VaaS offers a simple way to close security gaps.
Network systems that establish external connections can be made more secure with VaaS.

Secure Hosting
A trustworthy partner is essential, especially when it comes to cloud applications. With VaaS, you’re choosing a service that clearly stands out from other providers, because we do not partner with international hyperscalers. All data processed is guaranteed to remain in German data centers (GDPR-compliant and ISO 27001-certified). Files are retained only until the analysis is complete.
G DATA Verdict-as-a-Service uses either the German clouds from IONOS or plusserver, depending on your preference.

Open Source SDKs
With our ready-made software development kits (SDKs) for common programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, PHP, and many more), VaaS can be quickly integrated into existing applications.
We want to provide the best possible support for integration: In addition to ready-made open-source SDKs, our customers value direct Dev2Dev communication. Please feel free to contact us about this. If needed, we can also conduct joint sprints.

Yes, VaaS can also be hosted on-premises and operated in an air-gapped environment. The only requirement is a Kubernetes cluster with Helm. Necessary security updates are regularly implemented via new container images.

The cloud-based malware scan is a constantly up-to-date alternative designed specifically to meet the needs of dynamic applications and work environments. VaaS shifts protection to the cloud, where files are scanned centrally before they can cause damage—regardless of whether they are shared on a laptop, a server, or a mobile device.
Verdict-as-a-Service offers the following advantages over traditional antivirus solutions:
If you’d like to use VaaS as an OEM solution, it runs integrated into a product and contributes to security. One possible scenario, for example, would be to activate a security add-on for the product. In these cases, we operate on a revenue-sharing basis with no minimum revenue requirements.
If VaaS is used solely for internal purposes within your company, we offer pre-configured package options. These are based on the number of your users and the required file scans.
It doesn't matter whether you scan a handful or a million files per day. You can easily increase the volume of data you need to check if your use case calls for it.
Virtually all common file formats can be scanned, including PDFs, Office documents, images, videos, and executable files.
Yes, our Information Security Management System (ISMS) is certified to ISO 27001:2022.
