Directions via the A40 from Dortmund

Take the Bochum-Harpen exit onto the A448 toward Hattingen, then take exit 5 toward BO-Zentrum. At the traffic light, turn left and immediately turn right into the entrance. The campus gate will then be on your left.

Directions via the A40 from Essen

At the Bochum-West interchange, take the A448 toward Witten/Bochum-Süd. Take exit 5 toward BO-Süd/Stiepel/Hattingen and turn left at the traffic light. At the next traffic light, turn left again and immediately turn right through the entrance. The campus gate will then be on your left.

Right on our campus, you’ll find 100 free parking spaces as well as modern electric vehicle charging stations.

Directions from Münster via the A43

At the Bochum interchange, exit the A43 and merge onto the A40 toward Essen. After about 2 km, take exit 37 toward Bochum-Harpen and merge onto the A448 toward Hattingen. Exit at exit 5 toward BO-Zentrum. At the traffic light, please turn left and immediately turn right through the entrance. The campus gate will then be on your left.

Directions via the A43 from Wuppertal

At the Bochum-Querenburg interchange, switch from the A43 to the A448 toward Bochum. Exit the A448 at exit 5 toward BO-Zentrum. Please turn left at the traffic light and immediately turn right through the entrance. The campus gate will then be on your left.

There are 100 free parking spaces and modern electric charging stations available directly on our campus.

If you take the bus from Bochum Central Station in the direction of Bochum-Stiepel/Hattingen (Line 350) or Bochum-Weitmar (Line 353), the bus stops right on the campus side of the street at the “Knappschaft” stop. After getting off, simply cross the street at the traffic light on Wohlfahrtstraße and walk straight toward the entrance.

If you are traveling from Bochum-Stiepel/Hattingen (Route 350) or Bochum-Weitmar (Route 353) toward Bochum Central Station, get off at the “Knappschaft” stop on the opposite side of the street. In this case, please cross the street at the traffic light on Königsallee; our campus will then be directly diagonally to your right.

The popular Springorum route runs right past our campus. If you’re coming from downtown Bochum, take the exit at Werk Eickhoff (the intersection of Königsallee and Wasserstraße).

If you’re coming from the south (Dahlhausen/Weitmar), we recommend taking the exit to Wohlfahrtstraße.

From either location, you can reach us in less than two minutes.

From downtown, follow the bike lane on Königsallee heading out of town uphill toward the south. About 400 meters past Waldring, you’ll pass the large intersection of Königsallee and Wasserstraße; after another 350 meters, the entrance to our campus will be on your right.

Coming from the south, use the wide bike lanes heading into town until you reach the tall glass Bominhaus; the campus is then diagonally to your left.
