Changelog 15.9

New features

  • This is an important update because certificates have been renewed. The old certificates will expire on June 27, 2026. For this reason, we strongly recommend that you update to version 15.9 in a timely fashion!

  • This release introduces a new wizard designed to simplify the transition from G DATA Business Solutions to a future-proof XDR solution. If you are interested, please contact the G DATA Sales Team.

General modifications

  • Patch Management has been completely removed, and any existing files that are no longer needed will be deleted.

  • Improved localization of G DATA Management Server and G DATA Administrator.

  • Internal improvement: Upgrade to the latest .NET version.

Fixes

  • Correct display of the Windows Server version in the client overview of the G DATA Management Server.

G DATA Administrator

  • Fixed a bug in G DATA Administrator that could prevent users from logging in to the G DATA Management Server.

  • Migration wizard to XDR products integrated.

G DATA Security Client

  • Fixed a bug that could cause the firewall to block applications even though a corresponding allow rule was in place.

G DATA Device Management

  • Improved behavior of Device Control in large environments: The group/user tree no longer opens automatically when requests are being handled. This improves usability and performance.

  • Group rules are now taken into account on clients in all cases.

Windows

  • Fixed a rare bug that could cause the system to become unresponsive when using Microsoft Exchange.
