How to find your G DATA registration number

If you purchased your G DATA product as a boxed retail product, you can find your registration number on the inside of the box.

If you purchased a product directly via the G DATA shop, Software is activated immediately is selected in the shopping cart. You will receive your access credentials immediately after purchase by email in your order confirmation. In this case, it is no longer necessary to enter a registration number. After purchase, it may take about 5–10 minutes for you to receive the email. If applicable, check your spam folder as well.

Do you have an invoice?

On your invoice, you can find your customer number, the invoice number, and your username.

Where can I find my data in My G DATA?

In your personal account area, you can find your username in the menu at the top right under your name. Simply hover the mouse pointer over your name, and your username will be displayed along with other functions.

Where can I find my data in the products G DATA AV, IS, and TS?

You can view your username in the software as follows:

  1. Start your G DATA software

  2. Click the gear icon (Settings) at the top right

  3. Then click "Updates"

Do you have a payment reminder?

If you have received a payment reminder, you will find your customer number and the invoice number there.

Have you forgotten your username?

After successfully resetting your password, you will receive an email with the subject 'Your password was successfully reset'. In this email, you will find your G DATA username.
