How to reset your G DATA Password

This article explains how to reset your G DATA password.

① Go to this G DATA website to reset the password:

https://www.gdatasoftware.com/lost-login-data

② Enter the email address you have on file with us, your G DATA registration number or your G DATA user name.

In our example, we enter the G DATA user name.

You will then receive an e-mail to the email address you have registered with us.

③ Click on the link contained in the email and you will be directed to the page for setting a new password.

④ Enter your desired password in both fields and click Reset password now.

Your new password must be composed as follows:

  • 8 - 20 characters in length

  • at least one lower case character

  • at least one upper case character

  • at least one special character

  • at least one digit

Done! Enter your new G DATA password on all necessary devices that you protect with your G DATA software.
