On Windows 7 (32bit) the update to the new program version fails

When trying to update a G DATA Consumer Product on a system with Windows 7 (32bit), the following error message appears:

[Product] cannot be updated because currently active program components could not be terminated. Please restart the computer and run the setup again. Contact the service if this message appears again.

For technical reasons, an update of older program installations on Windows 7 (32bit) computers is no longer supported.

However, the current version can also be installed after deinstallation the existing version.
