About the licenses for MSA Premium
MSA Premium is paid and includes the full range of features. You therefore need a license for the installation. There are different ways to acquire this license. In this chapter, you will learn what these options are, what advantages and disadvantages they offer, and where you can find instructions for installing MSA Premium with the different licenses.
Option 1: License from the Google Play Store
If you purchase MSA Premium from the Google Play Store, you can install this license on multiple devices if you use the same Google account. However, you cannot deactivate the app on one Google account and activate it on another. When you purchase from the Google Play Store, the license is permanently linked to the corresponding Google account.

Option 2: License from the G DATA Shop (access data)
In the G DATA Shop, you have the option to buy G DATA licenses for up to 5 devices for 1 or 2 years. Depending on the license type, you can activate these licenses not only on Android mobile devices, but also on computers of different systems, tablets and mobile devices of all systems. If no license is free anymore, you can deactivate the licenses on one device and activate them on another.
When you purchase a license via the G DATA Shop, G DATA sends you access data by e-mail. You can use these credentials to activate the license. The access data will remain valid for the period for which you purchased the license (1 or 2 years).
With the credentials, you can install and activate MSA Premium both in the Google Play Store and via the APK/installation file. Option 3: License from a store (license key)
You still have the option to buy the G DATA licenses in stores. Then you will receive a license key that you can use to activate the app. With the help of a license key, you can only activate the app if you download the APK/installation file. You can learn how to do this in chapter → Installing and activating MSA Premium via APK. However, we recommend that you activate your license key. You will then receive access data for your license key by mail. The advantage is that you can then also install MSA Premium via the Google Play Store. This in turn has the advantage that you can install all updates despite a running license and thus always receive an up-to-date app version.
