3.

Create a CSV file.

When creating the import file, ensure that the file is created in UTF-8 format. Otherwise, issues may occur during the subsequent import.
If you use our awareness trainings, you can export the participants from the learning platform and import them here.

3.1 Read AD:

If you want to export the participants from your Active Directory (AD), proceed as follows:

  • Download our tool ExportActiveDirectory.exe from our secure server.

  • Start the tool.

  • You can find the created file named userexport.csv in the same directory from which you started the tool.

The tool reads your Active Directory and saves the required information in a CSV file.

3.2 Create manually:

If you want to enter the participants manually in a CSV file, proceed as follows:

  • Create a file with the extension .csv (e.g., PhishingParticipants.csv).

  • Open this file with an editor.

  • Copy the following line into the file if, under "Select reports", you have selected only Overall report:
First name, Last name, Email address, Language.

  • Copy the following line into the file if, under "Select reports", you have selected only Group report or both:
First name, Last name, Email address, Groups, Language.

  • Enter your participants below this line in the format of the header row.
    Example:
    Heike,Mustermann,heike.mustermann@musterfirma.de,de-DE
Each participant is entered on one line; do not add any additional separator at the end.

  • Save the file.

4.

Click "Import".

7.

Check again that the columns are mapped correctly, and specify whether you want to append the records contained in the file to the previously specified participants or whether the file should overwrite the current data. Click Next if the data is correct.

The participants have now been imported successfully.
