Hardware Requirements
Minimum system requirements of the G DATA agent

Minimum of 2 GB Ram and 5 GB of available diskspace.

Intel x64 compatible or ARM, Command set from SSE3 onwards.

Windows / Windows Server:

Windows operating system versions covered by Microsoft’s Extended Support,

Windows LTSC versions are only supported as long as they are covered by Mainstream Support,

Windows 11 for Installation on ARM architecture.

Linux based systems:

Ubuntu LTS versions covered by the respective manufacturer’s standard support.

All Debian versions covered by LTS support from the respective manufacturer,

All Red Hat Linux Enterprise versions covered by maintenance support or extended updates support from the respective manufacturer,

Oracle Linux versions covered by premier support from the respective manufacturer,
-
All SuSE Linux versions from version 15 onwards covered by LTSS support from the respective manufacturer.

MacOS:

from Version macOS 13.4 Ventura onwards (macOS 14 Sonoma, macOS 15 Sequoia and macOS 26 Tahoe).

Accessibility of the G DATA cloud
To ensure the managed service, the G DATA cloud must be accessible and must not be blocked by the firewall. The following listed settings are required for this. It must be ensured that *.gdatasecurity.de and *.gdatasoftware.com can be resolved and reached.

Port sharing

The G DATA agents on the endpoints must be able to reach the IPs of our backend servers via port TCP/443, IP range 194.156.84.0/22 (194.156.84.0 - 194.156.87.255).

Protocols

The systems must be able to communicate via the HTTPS:// and WSS:// protocols.

TLS

Proxy servers used must support at least TLS 1.2.

There can be no SSL inspection or deep packet inspection.
