Customize email template

It is possible to notify recipients of infected and quarantined emails either immediately or collectively at a specified time. You can customize this notification email according to your preferences.

Select Settings in the interface of your G DATA 365 | Mail Protection.

Select the item Quarantine.

Edit status e-mails

Via the button Edit Templates you can open a small text editor with which you can customize the content of the status e-mail according to your wishes.

The existing default text informs the original recipient of the original e-mail about:

  • The subject of the infected e-mail (Subject).

  • The sender e-mail address of the infected e-mail (From).

  • The recipient e-mail address of the infected e-mail (Recipients).

  • The date and time the infected e-mail was received (ReceivedTime).

  • The ID assigned by G DATA 365 | Mail Protection to this e-mail (MailID).

Use placeholders for the above information in your e-mail so that it is automatically inserted into your e-mail. The syntax with the curly brackets can be seen in the screenshot
