My devices
This view lists all protected devices and also allows you to protect additional devices.
Active devices
All currently protected devices are listed here. You also have the option of protecting additional devices.
To protect your device, install our security solution. To do this, follow the guide below.

Take the device on which the installation is to be performed. |

Open the My G DATA WebPortal on the device and log in with your username and password. |

Navigate to the view "My devices". Click on + Protect device there. |

Select the operating system of the device. |

Download the software either by clicking on Download software or by scanning the QR code. |

Once installation and activation are complete, the device is protected. |

If try to protect a new device but have reached the maximum number of devices, you will receive the following error message.
You then have the option to cancel the process, remove one of the protected devices and restart the process, or click on Expand protection to adjust your contract and protect more devices. |

The maximum number of devices that can be protected is shown in the view
My contract. You can protect a maximum of 10 devices with a private license. If you want to protect more devices, please contact our Support. |
Device details
Clicking on Manage → takes you to the detailed view of the respective device.
Here you can see details about the device, such as the operating system version, the version of the G DATA software, and the time of the last signature update. You can also view important notifications and remove the device from your protected devices.

When you remove a device, protection against cyber threats is no longer provided. To ensure protection again, you have to reinstall and reactivate the software.
