You receive the message "License invalid (License problem)" and "Your license is invalid," even though you are sure your license is valid. Various protection components are disabled and cannot be reactivated.
This issue may be caused by a recent password change. Here’s how you can resolve the problem.
Understanding the License problem
This message can occur if your G DATA software still has the previous password entered. In this case, your license is no longer recognized as valid. After a password change, it is necessary to update the password in your installed G DATA software.

Click on Access data in the lower left part of the window. This will open the Settings. |

Enter your credentials in the fields Username and password and click OK at the bottom of the window to confirm. Your G DATA software will then connect to the G DATA update server and be activated. |
